2180 SF Remodel + 100 SF Addition; Completed in 2005
This interior remodel of the entry, living areas, and master wing opens and enlivens the home. A custom-fabricated wood and steel open-riser stairway and catwalk replaces a pair of stairways. This new circulation celebrates the entry sequence and forms an organizing hub, linking multiple spaces and activities. Space flows uninterrupted in the open-plan master wing, connecting the deck, bedroom, dressing area, and bathroom.

Daylight spills deep into the home through new skylights, transoms, and large windows. Reclaimed mahogany bleacher benches milled into floor and stair planks warm the interior. Recycled materials, like the Richlite kitchen counter (a recycled paper and resin composite), accent spaces.
