Bring light and visual connection to a series of disconnected spaces in an existing residence on a challenging hillside site. Separate master suite from public spaces for privacy.
Concepts:
Expand entry to create gentle transition between exterior and living space while connecting to adjacent staircase.
Add a study overlooking the main living space in a previously unused attic.
Define separation for the master suite through addition of a guest half bath and laundry room.
Refresh entry deck and patio.
