4020 SF; Completed in 2007
An arched brick portal centered on the new façade opens onto a lobby, backed by translucent steel, wood, and a glass screen that conceals the private areas beyond. There, in this 100-year old downtown building, six law offices are daylit with large windows while secretarial support workstations line the open hallway. A sculptural archive storage gallery lines the wall over the workstations.

Daylighting is maximized via windows, glass block apertures, and skylights. Reclaimed Douglas-Fir bleacher benches were milled into finish trim boards. Light fixtures are controlled with daylight zoning and motion-sensors.
